Who We Are

Since 1981, International House has been a leading provider of direct services to Charlotte’s ever-growing international community, which numbers more than 104,000 immigrants and foreign-born citizens. We are a grassroots non-profit organization with a mission to promote international understanding and to serve immigrants in need.

The Ginter Immigration Law Clinic at International House focuses on uniting families, serving the disadvantaged, and preventing exploitation of vulnerable immigrants.  Staffed with two attorneys and two accredited paralegals, it is the largest provider of family immigration, and naturalization services for low-income immigrants in Charlotte.
