Who We Are
Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) is a statewide, nonprofit law that provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income people in order to ensure equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity. The legal staff of Legal Aid of NC - Wilson Office provides legal assistance in civil matters to eligible, low-income clients who have problems with their basic needs and live in the six-county area surrounding Wilson, NC:

Lenoir County
Nash County
Wayne County

Please note that Legal Aid of NC (LANC) does not provide legal assistance via E-mail. Rather, please telephone or come to the LANC office to request assistance.

Income Guidelines | There are some limited exceptions. Please call the Legal Aid of NC office in Wilson to see if you are eligible for our services. Sometimes clients give a donation when we prepare their wills, etc., but it is not required. |
