If you need to file something with a court in North Carolina and you are unable to pay the filing fee, you may be able to have the fee waived by petitioning to file as a poor person (Indigent). This guided interview will help you determine if you qualify and if you do, it will help you complete the forms for indigent filing. (Covers both G-106 and CV-226 filing.)
